A Multimedia Spatial Installation (in the Kunstraum Neuss)
In the gallery space, 8 short experimental video films (b/w) from the project “Retina (Retina) – Jürgen Hille – Video-Photography-Book TIMES see Spaces Connecting” are projected wall-filling (Loop: 11.30 min.). Simultaneously, book pages from the current project book are placed on the wall as a horizontal sequence creating a new spatial horizon and positioned as a resting time layer to the accelerated monumentalized video stream.
The experiential and visual material gathered in the adjacent city park by the pond is newly arranged in dynamic video montages.
Thus, from documentary events (enriched with historical photographs from the city archive) a poetic image of time emerges.
Remote-controlled ship models create an astonishing parallel world and recall self-driven rowboat rides on the garden pond.
Uninvited wild geese appear in their peculiar beauty.
A small stone served as a perception instrument for acoustic-visual spatial exploration in interior and exterior spaces.
The video montages energize the space, which becomes a semi-permeable perception cell.
A retinal adventure.
Eine Multimediale Rauminstallation (im Kunstraum Neuss)
Im Galerieraum werden wandfüllend 8 kurze experimentelle Videofilme (s/w) aus dem Projekt “Retina (Netzhaut)- Jürgen Hille- Video-Fotografie-Buch
ZEITEN sehen Räume verbinden” projiziert (Loop:11.30 Min.). Simultan sind Buchseiten aus dem aktuellen Projektbuch an der Wand als horizontale Wandfolge in einen neuen Raumhorizont gesetzt und als ruhende Zeitebene zum beschleunigten monumentalisierten Videobildstrom platziert.
Der im angrenzenden Stadtpark am Weiher geschöpfte Erfahrungs- und Sehstoff, wird in dynamischen Video-Montagen neu geordnet.
So wird aus dokumentarischen Ereignissen (mit historischen Fotografien aus dem Stadtarchiv angereichert) ein poetisches Zeitbild.
Ferngesteuerte Schiffsmodelle erzeugen eine erstaunliche Parallelwelt und erinnern an selbstgesteuerte Ruderbootfahrten auf dem Gartenteich.
Ungebetene Wildgänse erscheinen in ihrer eigenartigen Schönheit.
Ein kleiner Stein diente als Wahrnehmungsinstrument akustisch-visueller Raumerkundung im Innen-und Aussenraum.
Die Videomontagen energetisieren den Raum, der zu einer semipermeablen Wahrnehmungszelle wird.
Ein retinales Abenteuer.
